On campus, Clancey is involved in a wide range of student leadership and agriculture-focused organizations. She is a member of the Dairy Science Club, Dairy Challenge Team, Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, and Chi Omega Sorority. She also serves as a Panhellenic Senator for the OSU Student Government Association.

“Dairy farming is my identity—it’s my heritage, and I am proud of that,” Krahn shared. Her passion for agriculture is evident through years of community service, advocacy, and leadership.

Clancey previously served as the 64th Oregon Dairy Princess Ambassador, National Jersey Queen, and co-chair of the All-American Junior Activities Board for the American Jersey Cattle Association. In 2023, she won the National FFA Proficiency Award in Dairy Production – Entrepreneurship, marking the first time an Oregonian has earned this national recognition in over 50 years.

This summer, Clancey is attending the U.S. Dairy Education and Training Consortium in New Mexico and plans to complete an international agricultural internship next year. After graduation, she intends to pursue a master’s degree in Agricultural Communications and Leadership.

Her long-term goal is to advocate for dairy through policy, marketing, and strategic communications.

“I can think of nothing greater than to give back to an industry that has made me who I am today,” Krahn said.

The ODFA scholarship program supports students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to Oregon’s dairy community. The ODFA is proud to support Clancey Krahn in her academic and professional journey and looks forward to the positive impact she will continue to make in the dairy industry and beyond.
