Grants & Research

Advancing Practical Solutions for Oregon Dairy

The Oregon Dairy Farmers Association supports applied research that strengthens Oregon’s dairy community. Since launching the grants program in 2015, ODFA has invested in academic and industry-led projects that address real challenges on the farm—helping producers improve sustainability, animal care, and operational success.

Each project funded through our program reflects our core values: practical results, science-informed approaches, and a commitment to the long-term health of Oregon’s dairy industry.

Why we invest in research

ODFA’s research program is designed to support projects that deliver practical, on-farm solutions. Whether focused on climate resilience, workforce practices, or milk quality, funded research must serve the needs of producers and contribute to the viability of dairy operations across Oregon.
